Let’s explore our home and name the rooms. You might have a big house or just a small flat, they all have some basic rooms. Do you know them in Spanish?

🛏️  El dormitorio/La habitación - Bedroom

Now add where they are

La cocina está abajo. - The kitchen is downstairs.

El dormitorio está arriba. - The bedroom is upstairs.

El baño está al lado del dormitorio. - The bathroom is next to the bedroom.

Mini-challenge: Label your life! Grab some post it notes and write the name of the rooms in your house and stick them on the walls/doors/cabinets… anywhere you would see them everyday. You might like to pick two different colours, one for words that are masculine, and the other for the ones that are feminine. Take it further and label your furniture too!
