¡Hola, !

We all like to visit different places when we go somewhere new. Some people prefer to go to museums, while others like to spend time doing things outdoors, or a bit of both!

If you would like to ask where something is you’ll say:

¿Dónde está el teatro, por favor? - Where is the theatre please?

And be ready to understand the answer! But don’t worry too much, start by asking and you could always say ‘Más despacio, por favor’ - Say it slowly, please. Or ask them to point at your map (if you have a paper one) or Google Maps (what would we do without them nowadays!)

Practice your locations by saying where something is, you may choose things in your own city or somewhere you’ve been on holiday.

🛒  El supermercado está en la Calle Serrano. - The supermarket is on Calle Serrano.

🏥  La farmacia está en la Avenida del Parque. - The chemist is on Park Avenue.

🎭  El teatro está al lado del Restaurante Paco. - The theatre is next to the Restaurante Paco.

Mini-challenge: Look at the map below, there are many interesting places to visit. Say the name of the street where they are or what is close to them.
