This Turkey Is Lonely. Is Thanksgiving

Forgotten Already?

It's Black Friday as I write this. I don't know if your family takes note of it, but mine does.

As we're trying to figure out the perfect gift for each family member, we're turning from the peaceful calm of Thanksgiving.

But we don't have to. We can stop and think every day about what we are grateful for. In fact, in my Bible study this week, one woman held up her gratitude journal. It's a discipline for her, writing down five things each morning, and then five more each evening, that she is grateful for.

I can see that I need to do this, keep my focus in the right place. What do you think? Is it for you?

Christmas Giveaway Winner:

The winner of my four-book series for kids 8-11 (plus two animal toys) has been chosen! It's Renee M. Congrats, Renee! Thank you so much, all of you readers, for your help and participation. I really am seeing more sales these days. These books are becoming better known, no longer a secret. Thank you for your part in this!
