After lunch, 2,000 steps (double it for 4,000)

Walking for just 10 minutes after eating, your muscles absorb glucose before insulin has to do all the work. Less spike, steadier energy, better focus all afternoon.


Evening, 1,500 steps (double it for 3,000)

A short after-dinner stroll lowers cortisol, starts cooling your core temperature, and sets you up for deeper, more restful sleep.
