Trauma and Embodiment Association of Ontario (TEAO Canada) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming mental health care through trauma-responsive, community-based approaches. TEAO Canada offers peer support programs, training, and healing experiences that emphasize embodiment, relational care, and accessible support for individuals, youth, and marginalized communities. Their work is rooted in fostering connection, reducing stigma, and creating safe, inclusive spaces for collective healing and well-being.

On Saturday, June 20, TEAO invites everyone to come experience a community gathering at our Celebration of Hearts & Spirit Gala, which will be an immersive evening rooted in joy, connection, storytelling, movement, and community care.

The event is hosted at Storehouse 408 (408 Queen St W., Cambridge), doors open at 5:30 PM, with the evening officially beginning at 6:30 PM and continuing through 10:30 PM.

We wanted to transform what the traditional gala means, so this is not your traditional gala. This is a living, breathing experience of community.

Guests can expect an unforgettable evening featuring:

• Live comedians

• Singers and spoken word artists

• Brazilian dancers

• A fashion show

• A DJ

• Community storytelling and connection

The night will also include a vibrant silent auction featuring:

• Hand-painted family portrait certificates

• Free yoga passes and wellness experiences

• Wine tasting experiences

• And many more community-supported offerings

Each guest will receive a thoughtfully curated swag bag filled with items from local businesses, highlighting the incredible entrepreneurs and organizations that continue to support and uplift our community.

This evening has been intentionally designed not simply to attend, but to arrive into. We invite you to join us in your beautiful attire for a night where celebration becomes medicine, connection becomes tangible, and community comes fully alive.
