For a long time, I thought I just had to put up with it because it came with the territory of running a business. Turns out, it can be avoided. And I want to show you two steps you can take to immediately avoid annoying people once and for all! STEP 1: Join Facebook groups that are RELEVANT to your business and target market. I mean, what’s the point of being in a group where no one would be remotely interested in what you have to offer? It’s ok to be in irreverent groups, as long as they are for personal use (I’m in a LOT of coffee groups!) STEP 2: Network! Start making conversations with group members. Find out what they like and don’t like. Find out what they want (or what they THINK they want) then provide them with what they actually need and solve their problem. Now you can do this two ways (Depending on the group rules) Send them a friend request and carry on the conversation in your PM or tell them in the comments about your group and what you can offer them.
